Change of date as Literary Festival looks to build on success
A F Harrold delights young audience

The Cotswold Edge Literary Festival has announced its dates for 2019. The week- long event, which proved very popular in its first outing this June will be held on 7-15 September in 2019.

The change of date is aimed at making it easier for authors to visit local schools during the week, but there will be a full programme of evening and weekend events as well. The inaugural event saw the likes of Will Self and Sathnam Sanghera visit South Gloucestershire as well as local best-selling author Susan Lewis.

Work on booking authors is well underway with organisers announcing the first of the line up in the Autumn. The first festival used several venues across South Gloucestershire to allow as many people as possible to attend and this is likely to happen again in 2019, with both large and more intimate events being planned.
